This ancient indigenous tradition that incorporates dance, song, drum and prayer comes from the Mexica tradition of Mexico. Through prayer and sacred alignment with our Earth Mother Tonantzin, the celestial Mexica bodies, as well as all the elements, we use our hearts and bodies to connect all of these energies, with the spiritual support and wisdom of our ancestors.
Join us in the opening ceremony of ARISE Festival, as well as at several other times in Wisdom Village to enjoy a Danza Azteca ceremony, as well as a Friendship Dance to find a space where your feet can connect with Tonantzin and your personal prayer may be shared.
