The Earth Guardians spread activism through music. These young people are impacting their communities and creating change through the power of music. They are an honorable addition to the lineup. For The Earth Guardians & Arise Music Festival its more than about the music; its about change.

The Earth Guardians help coordinate and facilitate several different projects to help create a positive impact in communities worldwide.

Earth Guardians created a program called Rising Youth for a Sustainable Earth (RYSE). It is a diverse movement of young climate leaders who are taking action and empowering you around the world to do the same. The Earth Guardians believe in the power of youth to disrupt the global leadership status quo. These young activists understand the importance of taking corrective action, and bringing attention to pressing issues such as these.

Xiuhtezcatl, 14 and Itzcuauhtli, 12 are eco hip-hop artists and activists who write and produce music to educate their generation about the global environmental crisis and to inspire people of all ages to connect with their passions and move into positive, creative action. They have spoken and performed in the United Nations, at schools, colleges, conferences and music festivals worldwide. They often perform with their three sisters, Isa Caress, Tonantzin and Jasmine. HBO recently produced a music video of their original song “Be the Change.” Their new album Generation RYSE will wake you up, get you on your feet, and inspire you to take action to create a better world for future generations.
