Skyrocketing to the top of the jamgrass scene, The Sweet Lillies’ high-energy, melodic tunes have quickly captured the hearts and music souls of fans in Colorado and beyond. The band, formed a mere one year ago, credits its appeal to the original and compelling songwriting of all four members. The magnetic combination of Melly Frances (vocals), Julie Gussaroff (upright bass), Becca Bisque (viola), and Danjo Lynn (banjo) give this band a soulful, rare, alluring sound that blends Americana and bluegrass, creating a style all its own.

Formed in the spring of 2014 and based out of Colorado’s Front Range, the band credits its appeal to the original and compelling songwriting that flows from each member.

The magnetic combination of the upright bass, guitar, banjo, and viola–together with powerful three-part female harmony–gives each song an alluring sound that blends Americana and Bluegrass and creates a style distinctive to the band. The band is continually expanding their audience and reach, building support through an unwavering commitment to life on the road, a contagious love of music, and a get-up-and-dance attitude that leaves listeners wanting more. This is just the attitude that Arise Music Festival wants its everyone to participate in.

They have already shared the stage with the likes of Peter Rowan, Vince Herman, Kyle Hollingsworth, Andy Hall, Bill McKay, Jake Wolf, Dave Abear, Leftover Salmon, Yarn, and Drunken Hearts.
